The journey

The nearest airports are Zürich, Genf, Basel and Bern. There are international train connections to and from all neighbouring countries which will bring you into Interlaken Ost and from there by regional train to Lauterbrunnen. From there you board the cable car to Grütschalp and transfer to the train to Mürren. Your luggage travels with you directly to Mürren (latest departure cable car at 8.35 pm). From Lauterbrunnen you may also take the yellow postbus towards Stechelberg, where you board the Schilthorn Cableway to Mürren (latest cable car Sun - Thu 23.45h Fri & Sat 00.55h). Each train to and from Mürren has connections with the train from and to Lauterbrunnen. Time table of all trains and postbuses you will find on www.sbb.ch
