For many years now, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming you to the Stägerstübli and sharing countless wonderful moments with you. We’d like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your loyalty, your visits, and the many encounters we’ve shared.
There will be a few changes for us in the coming season.
We’ve decided to give ourselves and our team a little more time to relax. Starting now, the Stägerstübli will be open Thursday through Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
We are confident that this additional break will help us continue to welcome you with the same joy and hospitality in the future.
As a family, we have also decided to put the Stägerstübli up for sale. We are taking this step with great respect for the history of our establishment and its special significance for Mürren. In the upcoming sale process, we will place great emphasis on finding a successor who is aware of this responsibility and who will carry on the tradition of the Stägerstübli with passion.
Until then, we look forward to continuing to welcome and pamper you here. The Stägerstübli remains a place of gathering, coziness, and hospitality—and we look forward to many more wonderful moments with you.

Our restaurant will be closed from 13 October to 10 December 2026
